6 Week Strength and Conditioning Program Starts December 12th.
If you have a student from the age of 12- 16 yrs old, CFIO’s Strength and Conditioning 6-week program is the place for them! While sport-specific camps are important for developing their skills, there is a time and a place for that. But what about building their strength, speed, endurance, and ability to perform well at all task, not just certain skills? CFIO offers the “all in” strength and conditioning training needed to get your athlete ahead of the game. CFIO offers a balance between Strength, Endurance, and Mobility components all focused on injury prevention by teaching functional movements.
-Grades 6th and up
-December 12th – January 18th
-Tuesday and Thursday 4:15 pm – 5:15 pm
With all of these different aspects included, your athlete will not only be healthier but also have a better understanding of how to properly move their bodies.
CFIO offers a class setting with a coach to ensure that movements are performed correctly. On Day 1 all students will perform a benchmark workout that will be retested at the end of the 6 weeks to determine improvement. Each class will include a warm-up, then will move to the first half of class where students will work on a specific lift or strength- skill, next a workout will be performed, and class will end with mobility or skill work. Students will also be given mobility homework at the end of each class. This allows them to get ahead of the game by really learning their bodies and how to properly use them.
