Legendary – Mike Rosene

Mike Rosene is no stranger to CrossFit Inside Out. His wife Julie has been here for quite sometime in group classes, Personal Training, Guns, Buns and Abs, Emerge Bootcamp, and several other programs.

A couple of years ago, we initiated a Couch 2 CrossFit program and Mike was quick to sign up. I vividly remember Mike telling me that one of his major goals was to be able to stand back up if he ever fell. Mike has come such a long way since then! Just a few months ago Mike was banging out box jumps better than some 20 year olds!

We love having Mike here in our Legends program. Our Legends program is specifically structured for those 50 years of age and older. Mike understands the benefits of functional movement training no matter how old or young one is!

We asked him a few questions about why he continues to choose CFIO:

How has CrossFit Inside Out changed your lifestyle?

It has gotten me back to spending more time in physical training which I had been partially neglecting.

What was your first impression of CFIO?

I was struck by the profusion of friendliness, enthusiasm and camaraderie at CrossFit Inside Out.

What’s been the biggest change you’ve seen since starting CrossFit Inside Out?

Significant improvement in body mechanics (agility, balance, etc.). I have also lost a few pounds.

What are you working on right now?

Whatever Coaches Andrea and Alyssa throws at me. I want to work on every aspect of improved performance.

What’s your favorite CFIO memory?

Coming to realize the meaning of “inside-out”, which I interpret to mean improving physically, metabolically, mentally and spiritually.
